THE CHALLENGE

The bank was managing IT support across eleven branches using a fragmented mix of in-house staff and rotating third-party contractors. Network outages at branch level were occurring on average twice a month, and each incident was taking between four and six hours to resolve. With regulatory pressure from the European Central Bank increasing around cybersecurity standards, their existing setup was no longer fit for purpose.

THE STECHAD SOLUTION

Stechad deployed a dedicated managed IT service covering all eleven branches — including 24/7 remote network monitoring, a defined incident response SLA of under two hours, and on-site engineer deployment for critical faults. A full cybersecurity review was also conducted, and endpoint protection was standardised across all branch devices. Stechad additionally took over procurement of networking hardware, eliminating three separate vendor relationships the bank had been managing independently.
